Overview
Engineered Science is a peer-reviewed open access international journal that provides an interdisciplinary platform for communicating scientific advances that combine the principles of mathematics and science with engineering. The journal reports novel and significant theoretical and/or experimental research discoveries that encompass all aspects of Science and Engineering.
Engineered Science is a new concept and represents a new field. It emphasizes the importance of both science and engineering. For Science, the engineering should be emphasized during the study. For Engineering, the science should be considered and adopted to avoid any mishap in their deployment. In this engineered science process, the knowledge behind the phenomena should be discovered, understood theoretically and predictable for future by a mathematical model. With the advent of Artificial Intelligence (AI), numerical simulation and analysis, deep learning, robotics, machine learning, etc., researchers can disclose and predict the nature unprecedentedly. People will benefit from the reported Engineered Science results for their convenient and reliable life.
Any article that focuses on, but is not limited to the following fields of research will be considered for its publication, upon satisfying accepted ethical and scientific publishing standards.

Special Issues
The Engineered Science does not have regular special issues. However, the experts, especially the authors from the journal, can organize papers with the same topic to form a virtual special issue. It normally contains 10 to 15 papers, which are published in the last three years. This special issue will be displayed in the special issue area (link). All interested experts should prepare a proposal on the specific topic and selected papers. After receiving the proposal for the virtual special issue, Editor-in-Chief and selected Associate and Executive Editors will evaluate the proposal. A decision is expected within three weeks from the date of submission.

Processing Time
Depending on the manuscript type and number of submissions, the average manuscript turnaround time (the average time from submission to initial decision) will be around 10 days and the submission to acceptance ranges from 6-7 weeks.
After acceptance, the citable just-accepted manuscript with doi will be online in one week and another 4-5 weeks to get the final corrected article online after getting the authors’ final proof. The print version will be available 2-3 weeks later after the online volume is issued.
There is no embargo period for the accepted manuscripts, and authors may place their articles in a repository of their choice immediately upon publication.
