Carbon fiber reinforced polymer composites (CFRP) have excellent comprehensive mechanical properties, and become one of the main ways to lightweight components. It has been paid more and more attention in automotive industry, aerospace industry and other fields. In order to improve productivity and quality and make better use of carbon fiber reinforced polymer composites, especially for carbon fiber reinforced thermoplastic polymer composites, this paper firstly reviews the research status of injection molding of carbon fiber reinforced thermoplastic polymer composites at home and abroad, finally the future perspectives for this field are discussed.
