In this work, positive magnetoresistance (MR) is observed in the polyaniline (PANI)/epoxy composites at room temperature. The PANI particles are prepared using the polymer oxidation method. When the loading of PANI in the epoxy is 80.0 wt%, the MR can reach 7.587%. Moreover, the PANI particles and PANI/epoxy composites were well characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and Raman. The electrical resistivity, charge carrier density, and charge carrier mobility were also reported and analyzed. The PANI/epoxy composites exhibit higher charge carrier mobility than pure PANI. This work could provide a new idea for preparing epoxy composites for MR-based sensors.
