Abstract

Workplace Bullying was not a popular research topic in China, legislators, regulatory authorities, and even the media continue to ignore workplace bullying in reality. The aim of this study was to investigate the current situation of workplace bullying by the Negative Acts Questionnaire-Revised (NAQ-R), as well as to discuss how to deal with workplace bullying through legal approaches. As a measurement tool to investigate workplace bullying, NAQ-R is proved reliable and stable, and the results show that the two inter-related factors are more suitable for China than three inter-related factors. The absence of anti-bullying legislation causes indifference toward workplace bullying. The analysis of anti-bullying legislative model and legal provisions can provide valuable insights for China's legislation and practices.
